Seems like good exposure to a broad range of tax forms. Not sure whether to call it “basic” since some of those types of tax returns range from basic to very advanced depending on the client. To increase your knowledge, I think I’d choose one type of tax to consider specializing in, and start reading about that type of tax. For example, if you want to learn more about partnership tax because you like 1065s, pick up a copy of the Logic of Subchapter K and start reading that.
Thank you.

Also depends on COL and firm you’re with. I’m assuming you’re looking to specialize and grow your salary. There could be a corporate jump for $35k if you were a Senior. Just really depends upon what opportunities you come across. B4 in even low markets are around $52k low COL up to $70k in NYC for entry level. Add 20% after 3 years.

Cost of living. So in some regions the pay can be quite higher or lower based on this factor.
Given it’s such a wide range of forms, I’d be tempted to think it leans on the basic end of the spectrum. It’s hard to get in depth knowledge of such a broad area. I think 3 years in that’s a good thing though, having a wide base of understanding helps as you begin to specialize.
1120 vs 1065 is a pretty big distinction in some places! You may want to choose one if you really want to zero in on a specialty. Each on its own is more than deep and wide enough.
