Is it a good salary for a family of 2 considering our total current gross Indian salary is 2.6 lakh?

I will be sponsored for an L2 visa as well and want to work there with positions related to Automation Test Engineer.
Will I be able to get a job there or should I continue my current job in INDIA only?

I had a stellar annual review! However, I was advised not to expect a raise since I got a promotion a few months ago that bumped my income substantially. Thoughts??

I work for a mortgage company and I service many commercial mortgages that are unique in structure which makes servicing more challenging. Since we are a smaller company we have to come up with solutions or work harder get things done. I would say I do some managerial work now and train new staff. How should I approach a salary increase? What’s the ball park of commercial mortgage loan service salary?

What’s the base for CL8 (CDO)? Glassdoor doesn’t seem accurate, as it pegs CL8 at 56k. Currently a CL9, on 52.5 in London. Promoted from CL10 last year too, so still a fairly new CL9.

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.
