180k chase points. What's the greatest redemption value? Thinking booking round trip first class to Asia on Singapore Airlines.

Chase Portal is NOT the correct answer, especially if you're looking for F on SQ!! Those fares will always be insane and transferring the points will get you better than 1.5 cpp. Find and confirm availability, transfer the points, book.

like

Chase Portal can be better, particularly for domestic travel. But it is not always. Important to check both the fare and the award availability.

Bump

I think flights will give you the most value normally.

For 1 or 2? Best way would be to transfer to KrisFlyer and redeem for F through them, but 180k isn't enough for 2 roundtrips

D1, for 1

Chase Portal

Just book through Chase portal and you'll get the highest redemption rate. Used mine to go to Singapore last summer, but I flew United coach haha

I transferred my points to United..def do not book through the chase portal

Hmm good to know. When I looked last year for United, Chase portal had better redemption than United, but it is prob tied to status. I was only silver

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. I have unlimited PTO but my SO is limited in time (but luckily he can work extra hrs and then use less PTO). I would say max we could do is 1.5 weeks but adding on 3-5 more days seems almost too much? Thoughts? For reference, I did Venice-Florence-Rome in a week and it seemed okay but it also wasn’t as planned out

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
