Welp. Had an interview scheduled for this morning for 30 mins. I join the webex & nothing. I email the recruiter after 15 mins and get a response saying the interviewer had something come up and would like to reschedule. Is it dramatic of me to be bothered by the fact they didn’t even apologize? Meanwhile, I have another interview for a different company Monday & the recruiter reached out today asking if I had any questions or do a zoom test run.

I had no interviews today, to now 5 interviews lined up for the rest of the week.
Indeed uncertainty is another huge aspect in life.
First part of the job change is done, into the next.

I’ve always gotten the advice that when you want to switch jobs you should take interviews from places you’re not actually interested in, so you can understand your value in the market and have better negotiating power.

I’m doing that rn - took a couple interviews to gauge my skills, my market value, and see what I need to work on for interviews that I actually care about.

However, I feel really guilty about wasting their time and going all the way knowing I’ll just say no at the end. Wwyd?

I interviewed for an internal opportunity a couple weeks ago (Engineer w/ 4 YOE to Product Manager role). There were a few other internal candidates, and I have not heard anything since the interview other than "we are still waiting on approval on some things from the president, but he has been out on vacation, say hang tight." That was last Monday and have not heard anything since then. Should I assume that I did not get the position? What is the typical turnaround time for internal ops?

I just graduated and I have made it pass the third interview which was a two part working interview that I will receive compensation for. I have BS degree in healthcare professions and wanted to know if 40k is too low of salary to start off as a compliance officer for a pharmacy that provides discounted medications. I had a hectic last three months working up to 16 hours a day due to my project. During this time I took advantage of convenient food which isn’t always the best. Now that things have died down I am having trouble switching from the less convenient food, snaking more than I should and not being as active as I was during the three months previously. Like in Dec and March you will see less requirement due to Christmas and financial year ending. Similar what is the best period?

Because in my previous switch, 15 days were wasted due to Christmas and in March lot of requirements went on hold due to financial year ending.
