Hello. I will be going through 5 interviews with Salesforce soon for a Senior Incident Response role. Does someone know how much do you need to know about Cloud Security and/or Automation? Have someone gone through the experience of these multiple interviews? Any guidance? Is it difficult if you worked mostly on-premises in Forensic and Incident Response?

This is childish and a waste of everyone’s time and energy who took time out of their day to interview you, provide feedback, and create an offer. All for the vindication of one woman who talks to hundreds of people a year? Get over yourself.
Pro
Yes, this is childish and oddly satisfying. Make sure to negotiate the offer... in December.
This seems fake. And if it’s not, I wish it was. Great job taking the low road. This will absolutely only reflect negatively on you. Recruiter will have absolutely no problem filling a roll during a pandemic.
Haha I fall victim to carbs once again.
Who is 100% sure OP is a white male?

Yea this didn’t happen.
it’s a small world, don’t go burning your own bridges even if others ghost you. go high when they go low. 🤦♀️🤗
This is more like OP burning their own house down, sabotaging their own future opportunities, and giving more people a reason to ghost them.
I don’t normally like being petty, but I passed up two really good offers waiting to hear back from her, and ultimately took almost a year to land my first gig because those deadlines passed and she couldn’t be bothered to write “no thanks” in an email
Pro
That’s stupid. You should never pass up an offer on the table for a theoretical offer. You’re blaming her for YOUR rookie move? Lammme.
Wow, you made yourself look completely insane to the hiring manager, anyone else you interviewed with, and everyone any of them will ever talk to about this... all for the purpose of spiting someone who doesn’t even remember you and will have no idea this has anything to do with them. Gotta say, I’m impressed.

Best way to handle this was take the job and say “so happy we could complete the interview process, after our last go around.” But say this when work returned to the office. They’d be so embarrassed.
I think we are all guilty of ghosting. Whether it be professional or outside of work. Sometimes life just gets in the way and we forget to respond.
What a ludicrous amount of time and energy to put into something so petty. I’m not even mad, I’m impressed.

You are why we can’t have nice things.
And then everyone clapped...

This was a big yikes.
Similar thing happened to me, but at the same company. I went through final interviews that seemed to have gone quite well but got ghosted. So when she contacted me again 2 years later, I just didn’t answer. Why wasn’t that sufficient?
There was a movie about this; it's called The Grudge. Damn OP, you scary~
.
If you were really wanting to impact this person you should have just said, “sorry, you treated me unprofessionally when I interviewed at x, so I don’t want to work with you this time.”
And even that? *Shrug*
Right? So much effort, so little payback. Recruiter probably thinks they died or had some family crisis or are irresponsible. They are not all getting in trouble with their boss or blaming themselves, which is kind of the whole point of stuff like this.
Yeah maybe the best way to have gotten back at her was to have a conversation with her after you signed the offer—that is if you wanted the job. If you would’ve told her that you lost job opportunities because she ghosted, she probably would’ve felt VERY shitty. Ghosting her? She’ll forget in a week.

AMP probably incel too.
I dont know why everyone is so upset about this, I think it is funny! Life goes on....🙃
I would’ve asked for a high end salary first then if they gave me the offer, taken the job, win a Cannes Gold, stand up on the stage and go through my Thank You list and at the end say “lastly thanks to the person who got me this job, believed in me, without them I’d never be here...I love you mom.”
I don't condone being petty over small stuff... But if this is true I kind of admire your pettiness staying that high for years. Did you even tell the recruiter she ghosted you before? I would have opened with that and be like, you ghost me again I'm going public over how unprofessional you are.
