Coach
Yes, it’s time to leave if you want $20k more now and 2-3 years of being underpaid is easily $45k.
Kinda off topic but how are you handling studying for cpa while working full time? I’m about to start and unsure how to schedule my days. Thinking 2-3 hours every weekday and 5 hours on Saturday and Sundays.
Uh I don’t really plan on rewarding myself until I pass all 4. Maybe if I pass a test I’ll buy myself a new fancy pen for the next one. Once I pass all 4, I plan on using the bonus to buy my mom a Michele watch.
Less hours than big 4? If so, sounds like a sweet deal to me. 🤷♀️
$75k base is about a senior 2 (now senior 3 b/c of pandemic) salary for low COL. Does the company offer similar or better benefits than PwC?
Right. SA1s start at 75k in mid COL. Is there a possibility you get promoted in July? If so, it may be worth the wait. Raises and bonuses are generally better at big 4
If you are unhappy with your current role, and you believe you can stay at least 3 years in your new role, I would take it. You can jump in three years and receive another 20k bump in the future. I am finding out a lot of the high paying manager roles want you to have some kind of industry experience as well
