Hi, Is Trading & Investing in stocks banned for software engineers in JP Morgan? What about Mutual Funds, are they restricted/monitored ? Can we trade in Futures & Options ? If not equity stocks, can we trade in commodity exchange? Or maybe Forex exchange? Or Cryptos? Just want to know the boundaries of trading & investment and work accordingly! What are your experiences?

Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

Shoot for Sr Manager and agreed that 190k base is a good target.
OP, you are correct. 190k+ base doesn't exist at this level in the industry (unless you're going to FAANG etc). Revising your expectations downward both on salary is an integral part of exit process from consulting.
With three years post MBA, def $190+
*$190 base
Depends on the location.. and still.. $190 k would be a stretch target IMHO.
I Exited after four years in consulting to a tech company in Bay area.. a private with no sticks and was able to before to$190k with 30% bonus..
Had a few other offers.. but all lower at $175-180k base
Really what companies are we talking about ?
Do you guys know anyone who exited after 3 years or 190 base or just speculating ? Coz so far I v seen people leaving to Senior manger for 140-170 k with 15%-25% bonus .
