Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

Can folks from PwC share how exactly your all remote model works? So, an employee opting for remote works with any team across time zones ? Or across states in same time zone? Also, how do you staff on / find a project? Are there people working totally with teams outside their office, as say nobody or few in their own group/ office opted for remote model? Would that be true?

^good luck on your last one 👍🏻
Failure is not that you failed an exam, failure is that lost hope and stopped studying for good. If it was really easy then everyone would be a CPA and it will hold no value. Keep trying and think positive
The exam is adaptive, meaning it gets harder if you're getting a lot of answers correct, it adapts and give your harder questions in the following sections. Every exam that I thought I failed, I ended up getting my highest scores. Don't worry, everything might be Ok.
I was convinced I failed on all of the last three I took and passed. Don't worry just yet! Have one more left to go!
First testlet - great. Second and third - had to go back to 50% if the questions cause I wasn't sure if I had the right answer. Sims - totally screwed. Started to run out of time so had to guess, majority was based on calculations, not select the answer, and topics were obscure. As much as I would like to be surprised, I highly doubt it. I studied a lot for it too 😢I felt really good taking the Becker final exams but this felt wayyy worse.
Becker overprepares you. As long as you didn't leave anything blank on the sims, you could get lucky
Thanks for the optimism.
I took it today also, sims were cake
Thanks BDO, you make me feel so much better.
^ only if you took it by Jan 20
Congrats! If you feel that way you probably passed!
It's not over til it's over. You'll bounce back like the Patriots and end up passing!
^now that is a good reference
If you're 99% sure then you're prob right.
You guys would do fine. When I took the Reg last year I felt bad but end up getting 87. The test questions could be the ones where you felt bad and start thinking that you failed it. Good luck to all of you who are expecting result tonight. ✌🏽
Failed my Reg☹️☹️☹️☹️
I'm so sorry EY 2. Take that exam again. You will pass it. I just found out that I passed BEC (after failing it twice) so don't give up. You will pass it next time.
Thanks @CH1
Just take a deep breath and relax. You may be surprised.
I took it on Saturday and I felt the same way. Tons of b-law
