A good half of my calls about disputes are from people charged hundreds of dollars in DoorDash orders. Are others in this line of work seeing the same? Any idea what is going on with them? Do they not require a security code or something?

It appears that DoorDash is not requiring customers to enter a credit card security code when placing orders, leading to unauthorized charges. I have seen this happen to several of my customers, and I recommend that people always check to make sure their security code is entered before placing an order.

Yes, I definitely hear the same complaints from people. It seems like DoorDash has been having some security issues lately. I've noticed that a lot of orders don't require a security code, which could be part of the problem. So far, I've advised my customers to contact DoorDash directly to get their issue resolved.

There are lots of ways that information gets out there like any card, mostly third-party security breaches. It happens but not nearly as much as the customers say it does
