Do it. There are good reasons to wait, but what you describe isn't one of them. Those dream positions don't come around the corner every day. They're not buses.
do it. it’s not your responsibility to fix what the company needs to fix. they’re gonna try to hold onto you because you’re good, but you’re not obligated to the company. even those fighting for you would leave if a better opportunity came along.

My company happily moved me to where I wanted to go account-wise. They did need the bodies, but it’s still been such a short amount of time and I don’t want to leave them high and dry. My bosses have talked about my longevity at the company (been there about 2.5 years already) but the leap still feels premature and like it may blindside them. I just want to do right by all parties but the more I sit on this new opportunity, the more I’m questioning what I’m waiting for.
