A member reaches out to you with a suggestion for a new feature or aspect of the community. How do you evaluate the idea and decide whether or not to implement it?

We ask how much effort it will take, how much impact it is expected to have, what needs does it have, and often ask the community to weigh in.

If it’s low impact, high effort it generally doesn’t happen.

Yeah I think a cost/benefit analysis is the best way to evaluate whether or not a new feature will be worth it. I like the idea of asking the community to weigh in, but you know the community best so don't be afraid to just make a decision as the manager!

Struggling with a decision. Just started a new role with good manager and WLB within healthcare technology. But another large tech firm/cloud/software reached out and willing to pay 20% more. Not sure what the WLF is for this other role. Should I take the better paying role?

I started a new job as an “office manager” at the end of January. The duties seem to align more with those of an EA, and I’m ok with that. Except my boss is a control freak. He scolds me over every little thing, how I load the dishwasher, maybe I didn’t push my chair in. Last week he told me I needed to work on my appearance. I was shocked. I bought all new clothes from Ann Taylor that are perfectly acceptable for business casual. He hates me. Move on ASAP or try to stick it out ?
