A recruiter reached out to schedule a 30 min call to talk through an L7 role (non-tech). Any advice on preparation? Will I need to review LPs and come with answers or is this more so resume run through, position overview, comp expectations, and process overview?

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?

I am interested in pivoting from an agency into a traditional business consultancy role. I have start-up tech experience and four years of Strategy experience for media clients. Are there any projects folks in consulting would recommend I take on to add to build on to a resume? From the outside looking in, it seems like there is an overlap in the core competencies of a strong strategist at an agency and a consultant.

I have 2nd round (final?) with EY for Product Manager position. I am being told that’s it’s the same as first round but at different level (first was with Manager, this is with Senior Manager). Anyone has any experience on how different these rounds are and what should I do differently to prepare? It’s a behavioral interview.

Which one should I go for?

1. Oracle - 18.3 LPA fixed + probable bonus (I may or may not get)
2. Amadeus - 18 fixed + 1.5 variable.

Amadeus is also giving joining bonus of 75k. Amadeus is paying more, may give better hikes too, but I am finding it hard to let go off Oracle's brand name on my resume even if it's means around 2L less over an year. I am planning to work for atleast 3 years in my next company.

What would you have done in my place? Should I go for Oracle or Amadeus?

Amazons excessive interviews are an awful candidate experience. Why do they think this will help them win top talent in this competitive environment? Especially with their public cultural issues…? Lots of great paying companies without having to take a day off from work to interview! It’s overkill

I want to reach out to the recruiter at Amazon and let them know what the timeline looks like. I would much rather have the Amazon job over the Facebook one. But I’m afraid if I decline Facebook then Amazon won’t happen. I’m just completely lost.

Finished my loop for a marketing role 2 weeks ago, and got an email the next day that they wanted to give me an offer. Had my initial call with recruiter to put the offer together. It was lower than I expected, and we ended that call positively as I needed some time to consider, and we agreed to follow up in a few days. It’s now been a week and both recruiters have been unresponsive. Did I just lose this offer bc I tried to negotiate a more equitable comp pack, or is it a slow process?

I have a few LPs to cover where my stories are not solid before my loop on Monday. Feeling a little demotivated because I felt I had more time to prepare. Don't plan on asking for extension.
