Email could have been automated via a tracking system his or her company uses - I would give them a chance on the actual interview and then go from there.
Join and see if they actually attend the meeting first. Then bring it to their attention that if you are to peruse this search with them, that there needs to be better communication. It’s a two-way street!
Is this a recruiter at the company or a recruiter company putting you in for different companies.
The former I would work with because they are the in for that company, but if they are a recruiting service then I would be significantly less likely to work with them in the future.
Depends on if what happens in that meeting 😅
Recruiters are like Realtors -- some of them are super smart, capable people who are great at their jobs, but it's also a career a lot of incompetent duds manage to slide into. If you are simply looking for someone to partner up with to help you find employment, I would look elsewhere. If this recruiter either works at the company you are interviewing at, or is filling a specific role at a specific company you want to interview at, then stick with it. I wouldn't judge a company entirely by their recruiters/HR -- I've worked at some great places who had the most incompetent HR people -- but it could be a red flag.
