Looking for referrals for a Technical Sales Executive position that is Remote (USA), possibly in the industrial sector. Last year I made $109k at AT&T so I'm hoping to at least stay in the same ball park but want a change. I have lots of experience selling IT/telecom, but I also have a Mechanical Engineering background so I'm a good fit for a wide range of technical sales. I have been thinking a role in the industrial sector with a longer sales cycle may be a good fit, can travel up to 25%

PWC - 22L fixed

This is for a guidewire role.
Which is a better offer? What would be a good option for growth wrt role, salary etc.
Also, PWC claims to offer variable based on their fixed CTC based on the ratings.. is this true ? How much is the avg percentage given?

Has anyone ever done aggression training for their dog? Met with a trainer who basically wants us to either keep our dog crated or on a leash at all times and said no pets or play time for now. Our dog has been acting out ever since we brought home our newborn and also bit our groomer. Trainer has me terrified that the dog will hurt the baby but my heart is breaking that I can’t give any “love” to my dog right now. Any similar experiences or thoughts?

Every time I speak to my director (at least twice a week), he works in how he is getting older into the conversation(humorously). For instance, he forgot something non-work related, said “sign of old age”. He recently told a story, said, this is how old people talk. He likes to come across as a grandfatherly figure, but I’m not sure what to say in these encounters. It is always an innocent, non work related context. Have you guys experienced this ? How do you handle remote teams being in different time zones? Right now we have a ton of team leaders on the west coast with the core team on the east coast and because of that urgent requests keep coming down after hours with the expectation to address it immediately. So at this point we’re working from 8am until like 11pm and nobody knows what to do to push back on it
