I have been working in my job for a year now but I have 5 years of experience. I am technically doing 3 full time jobs - marketing manager, social media manager & part time recruiter for a trucking company. I am starting to become overwhelm and SEVERELY underpaid. I’m only at 45k for all of the work I do.

So my question is how do you ask for a raise? How much should you project for over what you’re already making? What should you have prepared to back up your reasoning?

For all the EY layoffs announced today, did the firm still give you the 401k match? Policy is to be employed as of 12/31 in order to receive and I hope they were kind enough to still match...

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. Are you traveling during the pandemic or have client interactions been virtual? Lastly, if you are a consultant here, are you on billable hours? My current consulting role is not - so this would be new.

Joined Blind over a month ago, and what an eye opener it has been. Tech salaries are insane. Even with the recent tech pull back and layoffs, some of the comps are on a whole another level. Friends in tech say, most layoffs have involved non-engineers (sales,HR, Ops,mrktng etc). Dudes in their late 20s pulling in 350k+. Unreal.

And then I look at my TC/bonus and a sense of disappointment washes over me. Short of becoming a partner, I don't think I can pull these numbers that tech bros post up.

I have an incredibly freeing life. I work full time remote and whenever I choose. The first year or so was incredibly exciting. But coming around a second year, I’m facing a profound loneliness. everyone around me doesn’t have the same flexibility. Most days, if I go do things I have to go by myself. Booking trips, I’m always “reigned in” to crowded holidays or weekends. I know I’m complaining about something most people would kill for, but it’s a struggle. I don’t really know what to do.
