Accenture Strategy fish- I was literally a week away from my final round interview (after screening, behavioral, 2 cases) when the initial lockdown happened. Since then, I’ve reached out to the recruiter I was working with about 3 times and haven’t heard anything. I know this is COVID related, but I’d at least expect some type of communication over the past 6 months. Any thoughts?

A few weeks ago I sent my resume in for a PCA posting. I’m qualified for the position yet never heard anything back. Not even a confirmation that my application was received. Is there anyway to reach out about it or should I just forget it and move on?

What should I be expecting for a 2nd round Associate Product Manager interview ? It is 30 minutes and with the hiring manager who has been in PM for decades. I am assuming product design/strategy may come into play.

About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle. Usually, I’d understand hiring at a level below for higher levels but I feel like doing a 3rd year as a junior might not be the best decision. Should I push HR for Consultant level? I haven’t gotten the official offer letter yet, just verbal.

Have interviewed a couple of people from WK over the past few weeks and have been hearing a lot about how it’s becoming a pretty horrible place to work since Susan came onboard. The criticism was more around actually working there than the work itself but is it really that bad? Made it to the on-site round for a Sales S&O interview. However, both of the interviewers are Managing Directors of Sales. I thought they would be other S&O managers. How would this affect interview questions (e.g would GCA case studies be sales focused?) how can I best prepare for this given a lack of a sales background.

All these weddings are blowing my mind and budget. I've had 5 weddings so far this year with several more to go by EoY. On top of that I've been asked to be in a lot of them which adds additional time commitment and cost. The cost of a bachelor party + shitty men's warehouse suit rental + travel and airbnb for the weekend + couple hundred bucks for wedding gift means I'm blowing tons of money for these weddings but I feel bad to say no.

How common are credit checks for roles in accounting or finance positions? Will high utilization on credit card balances and low credit score be a deal breaker? I’ve been irresponsible and made mistakes, but wondering if I can switch jobs now or if I’m best off waiting 1-2 years and cleaning up my credit first.
