ACN digital consultants - what's your year/salary?

I interviewed at KPMG on 11/14 and got a verbal offer the next day but since then waiting to hear from them. Been following up continuously but the partners are not replying it seems. In the meanwhile i have an offer from BT offering 90k for 4 yrs of experience which seems to be fair. I am just unsure whether to accept the offer as I was waiting for kpmg reply as I want B4 on my resume which apparently is a big deal. Is BT also good on resume for future employers ??

I dont understand why there is such a labor shortage. Especially with corporate private sphere jobs that tend to pay well.

If you work at McDonald's and the government will pay you more to not work, I get it. But not higher caliber jobs.

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. My SO has ~100K sitting in a savings account. She’s a student so very low income. Does it make more sense to start a 401K + IRA and invest it in chunks of 25K? Or max out this years retirement and then just throw the rest in an ETF?

Owe ~$4,500 in taxes for 2020. Anything I can do to reduce this amount? Going to contribute some extra money to 401k to get me to 19,500 for the year. Anything else?

I’m curious how much people here earn per hour given the total hours worked each week incl. commute time. Factoring in 401k and post tax salary, I make $34 an hour. How do u compare?
