Advice as I look for a new job. My coworkers and manager may ruin our program and get us all fired. So my new manager and program is very very lax. We have already had reprimand meetings for not meeting standards and expectations. I am the kind of person and worker that’s gonna do my work. My coworkers and manager tell me I am making things harder than it needs to be, don’t do the work the supervision and director expect from us. Let’s just all follow our lax manager and keep plugging along.

Hi all, I am trying to DCA bi-weekly into Vanguard ETFs, (VO, VTI etc). It seems like Fidelity does not support auto buying of non-Fidelity ETFs. So I was wondering which of these options you think is best?

1. Open a Vanguard Invest account
2. Look for Fidelity ETFs that are similar to Vanguard ETFs
3. Use smaller brokerages like SoFi l, Robinhood etc.

I really do not want to manage nor be active. My goal is to log-in like once every 6 months.

How do you handle people’s kids showing up on video meetings? Screaming, kicking, hamming it up, (wasting time.) Everyone else is coo-ing…I’m not a kids person. Who is still in denial about a housing correction? The Fed just made another .75% increase. Powell said they won’t stop until inflation is 2%. He also said a recession would be better than the consequences of unchecked inflation. He announced he will bring rates to a “restrictive level” until “the job is done”. He said that labor demand needs to soften (ie: layoffs). He very explicitly said he wants to slash demand and that housing needs a “correction”.
