Happy new year
Hey everyone, I got a call from Deloitte recruiting on Wednesday of last week discussing salary requirements and location. They told me that the team really liked me and that they were going to work on an offer. I got a call on Friday saying one group has approved the offer but they are waiting on others. I haven’t heard much since then. Should I be worried? How much longer will I have to wait?

What do you think about someone who does the bare minimum?
Agree on timelines when the task gets assigned and make sure it’s documented. That will help to hold them to account.
Pro
Set a higher bare minimum. Do you think this person's employer or anyone else is really giving them a reason to go above and beyond right now? If they're consistently hitting expectations then it's your job to correctly set the expectations that will get the work done.
