When is promotion period?

Yes. Once I told him my expectations were not met. Second time around I was prepared, had an offer from a competing firm.

Hi fellow 🌈 🐠- Looking for a therapist in Toronto. Can be virtual but would prefer to do sessions in person at some point with the same therapist for continuity. Any recos or resources on where to start the search? Bonus if they are LGBTQ or have experience/specialize within that community.

I need some advice. I joined a new team a couple of months ago and the department head noticed the amazing work I have done and wants to promote me to a new position (higher than an SA but not manager) without me prompting it. I have some career aspirations and would like to get promoted to manager, but how do I go about telling them that I would like to be manager rather than this other title without sounding like I’m not happy with this new promotion?

Currently in discussion with Cisco for Renewal Specialist role. I’m uncertain what’s a good base salary to request. I have an offer that’s much higher than what I’ve seen on Glassdoor search for this particular role. Can appreciate some guidance. Thank you

How much lower is portfolio operations comp vs investment comp at a VP level ($2b+ growth equity)?

Just got promoted to Manager and got a raise to $120K base + $10K bonus. Checked Glassdoor / Payscale and this seems slightly above the median for my area (HCOL). No MBA. Does this sound reasonable?

First year senior salary for PwC in DC? Audit.

Thinking of going freelance in a few months because I have gone 3 years without a raise and my work-life balance is awful. I’m not in a big ad agency market, so there are only a small number of places I could go to if I decide freelance is not for me and want to go back to agency life. Am I crazy to consider doing this now? Any advice from agency producers who took the leap?

What’s the salary range for a senior data analytics consultant for Deloitte in dc ?

At a lot of biglaw firms, associate raises and special bonuses caused an inversion of comp with counsel and even NEPs. Anyone at a firm that is adjusting counsel salaries to keep pace?

10+ YOE, experienced hire, and up for promotion to SC this year. My current project is straight up analyst work (absolutely no disrespect). I spend my days doing nothing but updating excel sheets, producing reports for slides, and doing extremely boring work (go into 100+ folders/excels and report back on who's completed what). I not only feel like this is BS, but I feel like it's going to screw up my promotion. I've never asked any analyst I have worked with to do this stuff, yet here I am...

I have been in management consulting for the past 3 years (specifically in healthcare implementations), and just got offered a new job in strategy. How long does it typically take to get up to speed and adjusted to this new type of work?
