I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. One way I'd never use AI would be to help with emails. Writing good business correspondence is an art and I'd feel ashamed using AI for that. What I've used it for is brainstorming exercises, feeding it variables and having it run scenarios so I can consider if I've overlooked anything. For that it's useful, and it's far enough away from finished product that it can't cause any ethical or credibility problems.
I use it to do a lot of tone and fact checking, as well as a quick grammar and spelling pass before I send things along. I don't rely on it 100%, but it's a good check and balance for the work that I do.
I had the same problem - too many cases, too many deadlines, too many small details to track. It created an Access database for me, instead of a spreadsheet. It wrote the SQL for the queries and reports. It mapped the relationships between the tables. I had to create the tables in the database and manually join the tables, but it walked me through the setup. It only took a few hours. Made a huge difference in helping me control my workload.
I use AI to write emails and summaries because I often have writer’s block. I also use it to answer my tech questions, like ‘what is the formula in Excel to highlight duplicate cells’. I use it to summarize my meeting notes. I use it to summarize long email chains and to create a list of action items based on the information in the emails. I use it to compare documents and list the differences. I will use it to convert a procedure outline into a full P&P. I use it for simple data analysis, such as trends or outliers. I use it to clean up data, like convert all instances of “Street” to “St.” I also use it to brainstorm ideas and solutions.
