Hi Guys...
I have a total of 5.5 years of experience with current CTC as 11.5 lpa.
I have a offer from Infosys of 17 lpa
But my company wants to retain me and they are giving me an opportunity for Canada onsite in return of retention(no raise or bonus)
Please suggest me, if i should take the onsite opportunity or keep looking for counter on my current offer.

Yes
Yes. For sure. Should be around 130K.
Yes.
Based on my observations on FB, yes. But as long as you’re happy with yourself.
Yes.
Jump to another firm and ask for 140K and a $20K signing bonus. You’ll probably get it. Or close, given the reality on the ground.
I went to A&M. Undergrad degree only
Grossly underpaid even for Austin. Were all 8 years of your experience in DA?
It doesn’t matter what kind of school you went to. Every day you stay put you’re losing money. Only you can make that change. Know your worth.
What the fuck am I reading? NO, you are not underpaid. $90k for a Sr Con is par for the course, although yes it is on the lower end of the salary band. $130k would be the very very top of that scale. That’s what manager levels at Big4 are starting at.
What’s wrong is having 8 YOE and being a Sr Con, I’m guessing that’s not 8 years in consulting?
I just jumped to $120k base for SC1 living in a tier 4 city by switching firms with 5yoe (2yrs as Consultant)
90K is low for a senior consultant unless you started as a staff/analyst 2 years ago. And even then it would be low for something as marketable as data analytics.
