Quintarelli is one of my favorite producers. I used to live in Italy and went to their winery. It was a great experience. I opened a 2000 Amarone last year to celebrate my birthday and it was delicious.

I went too! My wife arranged it as a surprise, they’re not really set up for visits and are pretty analogue on the whole. It was a fantastic experience as they’re such a small scale producer. Itching to visit Dal Forno too though when we went it was August hence they were completely “chiusa”.

For other nerds reading, do try to visit Veneto, it’s a beautiful wine region with unique wines (amarone) and plenty to do and see in the area with lake Garda and Verona right by.

You are right. It’s a very simple place that we drove by and missed on the first pass. Second time we found it and I had to translate for all my friends. But the simplicity and wines were incredible. One of my best memories.

I 100% agree on visiting Veneto. It’s where I lived. Also be sure to check out Valdobiaddine and Soave

I been thinking about buying a 3bed and 3bath house or a condo. I haven’t had much luck in finding one so I started thinking about 4 bed and 3bath. I am single and I don’t have any plans to marry or have a partner staying with me. Is there anyone who’s single living in a 3 or 4 bed house by yourself ? Please share your experiences from all aspects. The only thing that makes me think weird is, it’s too much space for one person ☹️

I keep watching Schitt's Creek reruns now and then. It makes me feel warm and mushy, but also super lonely. So tired of being perpetually single. I know it's been posted about here a bunch of times before but it still sucks. Venting and knowing you're not alone, helps a tiny bit. =) Also does anybody else thing Patrick is essentially just a 'too good to be true' fantasy boyfriend Dan Levy dreamed up and put on the show?
