Couple of days back I gave an Interview for AT&T. Interview went pretty well. It was for the ELK stack profile cum Data Analytics. Wanted to know how much should I ask if I get selected.

Below are the details:

Total Experience: 11.3 yrs
Curretnt CTC: 21 LPA
Tech Stack: Python, API, SQL, Elastic Search, Kibana, Power BI, Excel Macros, Data Analytics

I’ve interviewed at Tuck, Ross, and Fuqua — is it common to get rejected at all the schools you interview with? And if so, does that mean your application was strong but your interview gave them pause? To be clear I haven’t heard any decisions yet, just anxiety

Anyone applying/applied with a lower GPA? Seems like everyone had above a 3.5 would love to hear the success of others

Why has it been so dang hard to move from banking to a strategy role in my industry or expertise? Or a start up? 90% of my applications have passed on me before even giving me a first round interview! I’ve been on over 6 deals, and wanting out and it’s been extremely frustrating! I saw some sales managers discussing hiring strategies, especially for entry level roles (e.g. SDR, BDR).

One strategy that came up was having the applicant do 90 minutes of cold calling into real prospects with the hiring manager coaching.

What do you think of this approach? Would be curious to hear from both hiring manager perspectives and from candidate perspectives.

Is it difficult landing an in-house position as only a second year corporate associate in big law? I know some people who went in-house straight out of law school and some who had no transactional background but went in-house after just a year of practice. Not having that same luck on my end.
