So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Totally get it, super frustrating. If interviews felt solid, it might be more about internal stuff than you. Rejections can be automated, even for strong candidates. You did your best, keep going!
Rejections like that are difficult and the way they deliver them is pretty cold. But it just shows that you can never know how interviews are going. It's a competition, and we never know against whom we're competing. You may have done very well, but another candidate may have edged you out for some reason.
So will Amazon just let me go like that?, wouldn't they have rolling basis hiring, they can consider my interview performance against other opening too, right?
I am sorry to hear that. I know how hard it is to find a job in this job market. I would say that sounds to me like they are giving you a soft let down.
Is there any way I can turn this into positive or any hope in future, like them finding another team and location for me.. while I am moving onto other applications, what say?
