So I got upgraded to Marriotts Premier Platinum Elite level. Any idea what this means besides getting a gift from them in the mail?

In my consulting experience I have found nothing harder than scoring an upgrade on a flight into or out of SNA (Orange County) RIP "elite status" 😡

Note to all: Just because you have elite status and are riding dirty in first class does not mean you get to be a douche nozzle. Don't make the window passenger step over you to get to their seat!!!!!

Does Marriott ever upgrade your status level from Platinum to Platinum Elite? Missed it by 3 nights at 72 :(. Part of me is happy because less time on road but at least 20 nights in nonMarriott hotels
