In CFM, ballpark starting salary for an analyst is 55-60k (plus overtime, no bonus- I think), for a specialist its probably 75-80k (not including bonuses)

Thanks! I've heard rumors about pay-scale releveling in CFM and CDTS and wasn't sure what to make of it

Hi, I’m in need of some salary negotiation advice (continued)

I’m going to interview people for an AE role (more like AC based on the salary and experience level), none of the candidates provided by HR have agency experience.
I’m spiralling thinking about what I should ask to really get a sense of their capabilities. We really need someone who can learn quickly and take initiative as I’m drowning rn lol Any tips?

I recently switched company, but now i am realising that the role which i have been assigned is not the one which was offered to me.

I then decided to go back to my previous organization. They are ready to take me back. Salary difference is not much(about 15% less than my current ,but approx 65% from my last drawn salary in my previous org). But i used to love my work and role in my previous organization.i switched because of money.

Is the decision right to go back ?

I’m new to Canada and currently working as a BA for the same company I worked for, in India. However, the workload is a lot after I moved here and the pay scale is comparatively low. I started job search and currently negotiating salary with an early stage startup for PM position. Problem is, they’re very keen on comparing my current salary and fixing my compensation rather than fixing it based on my performance in interviews and their budget. Is this normal practice here in Canada?

Just pased the CT Bar exam this week! I'm working at the place I worked for as a summer associate, but its a general litigation firm. Now that I'm Barred, I'll stick to Plaintiff's PI/WC/Med Mal but my compensation is just a base of $75k with no incentives— my firm never had an associate dedicated to PI/WC/MM before me.

Partners seem willing to talk. What kind of incentives should I even ask about?

Thanksgiving is upon us. Send help.

My step in laws are TERRIBLE. Not directly to me but family dynamic is stressful. They parent their youngest kid with pills and ignoring him, so that he does inappropriate things around me with zero correction (walking in on me, insulting me). They are all half siblings (4 boys 30-11) so they all don’t care including my partner. FIL also verbally abuses MIL in front of us. Yet they all want to please him constantly. It’s just bad.

Food was good though.

I feel trapped abroad and locked in a dysfunctional system. We're just in limbo, it's depressing
