I had a interview with the partner where in the last few minutes he mentioned they are taking their time with the process and a final decision might be made a month or two from now so I shouldn’t be discouraged if I don’t hear back for some time. I first submitted an application a month ago. What could this be about?EY
I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.
As an ADC applying this summer for 2022 start, I haven’t gotten a chance to connect with any L.E.K. Consulting members and I really want to get to know the company better before moving on with my application. Any L.E.K. Consulting fish out there willing to spare a few minutes to chat about their work, the company, the culture etc? Thanks!

Use any possible network you have access to. Best bet would be searching for alumni who work in consulting firms. In my experience (also non target undergrad before MBA) school alumni from a non target school are interested in helping others from their school find a place at their firm.
yes, network network network! A ton of students from my university get offers from MBB each year from the connections they have.
An easy way to do this is search LinkedIn by college and job title for the companies you want to work for and see if the combinations of those filters show any potential opportunities. Then LinkedIn DM (try to find some common ground outside of just your university) & hope for the best !
