Any advice on finding in house positions with comparable salary to big law? 6 years experience 3 government 3 private practice. Should I hold out until I get more experience?

I've been fortunate to be in a high-paying position in the Los Angeles area and I rarely see comparable positions posted. The comparable positions at my company are filled by one of the big executive search firms.
