Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

If you’re healthy, normally the HDHP with an HSA is the better choice financially.
You can legally only have an HSA with a high deductible plan or a basic health insurance plan. You can’t have an HSA with a LDP
The Deloitte high deductible plans aren’t bare bones. What are you talking about?
To an extent the HSA and lower biweekly payment offset the higher cost of doctor appts. That said, I had some unexpected medical expenses this year and it would have been cheaper had I picked a plan with better coverage but only by about a grand. Last year it worked out cheaper
@D2 did you account for 10% copay and the $1000/$500 you get from D for HDHP
Yes
This isn't a hard model to build.
Build it for us and let us know the best option then stiff
Only Deloitte’s Basic is “bare bones” and even that’s arguable. The normal high deductible option has very good coverage and is a good plan. You do have to pay out of pocket/HSA for costs before your deductible but the HSA is worth it because it’s money that is completely tax free. Anything you don’t use you can use for medical costs down the line. You will need it eventually.
