Any creatives (specifically copywriters) who moved from agency side to client side willing to chat about your experiences? I’m considering a move but am not exactly sure if I’ll be able to do the work I want to. The role I’m up for is technically a copywriter role but it seems that the client side expectation of a copywriter is a little different from what I’m used to. Seems to be content writing, social, internal comms and little actual marketing campaigns for my portfolio. Is that how it is?

I've never worked on anything for TikTok and hope I never have to. TikTok is from hell. I was on it one time for about 10 minutes and could feel myself becoming mentally unwell in just those 10 minutes. The human brain is not designed to deal with the sheer amount of sensory overload that app gives you. I'm pretty sure TikTok is one of the main reasons we are constantly hearing about how much Gen Z struggles with mental health.
