Deloitte USI is offering me 15LPA fixed and 1lack joining bonus and HCL offering me 23LPA fixed. I've tried to negotiate with deloitte but they are not ready to negotiate and asking me to join on the same CTC which was initially provided. I'm confused to select the company. What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?

Like most consulting firms, we have a shutdown from “December 24th - January 1st”. But we also have an “unlimited PTO” policy.

I started end of July this year, and reached out to my engagement manager and told him that I’m planning on traveling and will be OOO starting December 13th instead of the 24th.

He said this is too much and that he can’t guarantee what the workload will be like.
