Any idea if there is a minimum hours tracked in office or not ? I heard few people from CCB were fired because they used to swipe in at car parking and without logging in lvdi they left office . How is the hours tracked ? Is it from lvdi or from swipe via card /biometric ?

Are more massive layoffs coming? What industries (in-house/ecomm) are safest right now or during a recession?

All of my friends seem to have surpassed me in salary over the last few years while I’ve taken a pay cut then got laid off. I feel like a loser.

My temp contract has been extended. I’m relieved to be able to pay the bills, but after giving 70-80 shots a day, I literally dream about giving vaccines almost every night! Struggling to keep positive about finding a new permanent job - I was laid off at the end of April, have applied to over 60 jobs, had 6 interviews, and no offers. I can’t go back to chain retail - it damn near broke me in my 20’s, and it’s much worse now.

I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto.
