Any insight into the Altman R1/R2 case interviews for the Consultant level? Recruiter just stated they were “MBB-esque” cases.

Not sure if I should just focus on TMT cases or prep as I have been across industries. Have experience casing at T2 firms so just want to know if I should expect anything out of left field.

I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.

I accepted an offer to work at an Am Law 100 firm in June. I just graduated law school in May. They offered a stipend and reimbursement for bar expenses. I am taking some time off before starting a new position with employer B in mid January but their insurance wouldn’t be effective until 2/1. Does anyone regret joining a boutique consulting firm? I signed with a startup out of college (spring 2020) whose founding partners were all partners/Sr leaders at a few T2s. Our firm is super small (dozen FTEs) but does really good work (we charge premium rates and work super cool projects).
