Any interviewing tips to share for MBB candidates? What is the most effective way to prepare?

Do you think it’s a good idea to have a chat with the partner who interviewed you after starting the job? What should you talk about with the partner?

I’m in a final round interview with EY for entry level roles. Does it affect me negatively if my recruiter knows that I’ve offer from multiple other big 4 firms? I received a form to fill where It asks for any offers that I already have.

I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. I’m having my annual review this week. Any advice on how to handle a) job offer b) review?

Job opportunity (mgr title, 4-6 yr exp needed) in Internal Audit (w/ data analytics exposure) at one of the largest private companies in Chicago. I interviewed with them (director and vp) till last round and decided to pursue a different opportunity. Great and caring people who seems to support what you wanna do at this position. I have applied for the position of a consultant at Accenture and am currently ongoing the interview process.
I have successfully cleared the Skill 1 and Skill 2 interview rounds and was now expecting that the next would be the HR round.
I have been mailed that there is there is a third round before the HR round that is going to conducted the next week.
Skill 1: Pure Technical
Skill 2: Semi Technical + Managerial

What you I be expecting in this third round?

Have you ever taken a job you know you will hate because you needed the money right away? I have a family to take care of. I feel like this is the place to talk about things we typically wouldn’t talk about in the larger workplace setting (which is great, don’t get me wrong), but can’t help but feel that this app definitely helps me see the ugly side (more so than the nice side) of consulting.

Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.

This is a really dumb question, but what does a headache feel like? How do I know if I have one? I have a weird head feeling, but wouldn’t describe it as achey, just annoying

A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.

Interviewing with Amazon for a BIE and Slalom for a DE role right now.

I work in BI and I'm looking to pivot into DE so the position at Slalom seems much more enticing. Based on research it seems like Slalom's pay isn't exactly competitive. Is the experience that I gain at Slalom worth it in the long run to gain more $$$?
