When would be the right time for me to get an MBA given my background?

I was a teacher for 4 years and transitioned into the corporate world. I have 6 months experience in marketing and that’s what I currently do, but plan for a lateral move in the future. I’ve seen suggestions of 3-7 years experience - does my teaching experience factor in? Or should I consider the 3-7 years only of my corporate time? Or is an MBA sooner a good move because of my big career transition (and future lateral)?

So other than money (which is obviously very important) what’s the incentive to make partner? Is it crazy that I just want to do my work and go home to my amazing family without the added pressure of running a business and managing others?
