Get in the taxi queue. $52 flat fare plus any tolls
Carmel is a livery cab company that does a great job and can sometimes be cheaper than Uber depending on demand. But you have to reserve in advance…wasn’t sure from your post whether you were looking to travel immediately or in the future
It’s for next week but planning in advance son thanks!
I think cabs have flat fare from jfk?
Pro
From JFK, yes, they do, but not to JFK, which seems to be the question here.

If subway isn’t an option and you’re looking for something cheaper than Uber/Lyft, a cab is really your only option. Unless a friend with a car wants to do you a favor 🙄
Yeah Ubers model was to lower prices in order to have a monopoly on the taxi industry. Now that they’ve gained massive market share they are raising their prices. Time to go back to hailing the yellow cabs or getting in the taxi queue. The absurd Uber rates are here to stay.
Taxi cabs?
Super Shuttle
Its not that much cheaper compared to a taxi and you will take forever to get to your destination
Jfk flat rate to central manhattan was somewhere around $90 last time I took it. I remember being surprised but googled it and the fees are a lot.

LIRR
Pro
Taking one suitcase on LIRR is bad enough. Three sounds unmanageable.
Try taking a bus or taxi
