If you want to wear jeans, I’d do the maternity ones that have the stretchy side panels vs the ones that have the stretchiness all the way around. Check target. https://www.target.com/p/under-belly-skinny-maternity-jeans-isabel-maternity-by-ingrid-isabel-dark-wash/-/A-53217104
Another option is to do rent the runway for temporary size so you don’t need to invest in a purchase.

Nuuly also is a great rental option. The c-section swelling will go down fast.
I just got barrel jeans. So happy loose fitting jeans are in style right when I was postpartum.
And mom jeans.
This was me too!! My body changed so much even when the weight came off. I’ve had really good luck with Good American jeans - the super stretchy ones with the high rise have helped a lot. I will also say I couldn’t wear jeans until about 3 months postpartum due to the scar discomfort - PT and scar massage helped so much.
No recommendations unfortunately but well done on the weight loss! Make sure you’re looking after yourself and your little one. Congratulations! 🙂
Post c-section I also dropped weight super quick but my body composition was all out of whack. It took me returning to work and weaning off breastfeeding for my shape to get back to “normal” or something close to what I remember haha. That was like the 6 month mark. By then jeans were fitting without even a thought. For that 6 month period between I was mostly sticking to leggings which were just way more comfortable…especially high waisted with extra tummy control early on.
The suggestion above if you need to have jeans is a great one!
Good to know re the weight loss and body composition! I was so shocked when I told the result at my 2 weeks appointment- I haven’t been trying at all and typically avoid scales at all cost (I did blind weights throughout pregnancy and was upset when I told my weight day of birth). I wasn’t expecting the jeans to not fit so feeling bummed. Granted I also can tell I have no core strength as it’s hard to sit up straight…hopefully soon!
