Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Does anyone have any insight into accounting roles at Amazon, particularly in the Arlington/DC area? An Amazon recruiter reached out about accounting roles, but the posts in this bowl are about Seattle. Trying to decide if the culture/wlb/pay is even worth looking into since it sounds like the interview process is intense. Base pay seemed pretty low in other posts, but they were a year old and for Seattle.

The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?
What…..

Keep your tee lower. Also get one of those impact stickers and see where you’re actually hitting the ball. It’s probably more to do with your swing path than your driver.
That said, the Ping G400 Max and G410 are spectacular and better than the new SIM (just tried it out this weekend). But if you can, wait until early next year when they release the G710.
actually i read it’s the opposite, counterintuitively (tee it higher). i tried it out at the range and it helped. still in the market though, so thanks for the rec. i didn’t hit the sim well at all so this is helpful.
impact stickers good idea too, thanks
Best thing to do is get fitted for your swing. Second best thing to do is at least go to the store and hit 5-6 different drivers to see what works best for you.
Agree. You need to get fitted. It is worth whatever it costs.
