Any success using a recruiter to land an in-house role? My instinct says this may hurt more than it helps do to their fee, but I just want a gut check.

Found my first one that way but haven’t had any luck landing another one since then (3yrs).

I think they’re rarely helpful. Most of my interviews are all from cold applying. That being said, if a recruiter reached out and have a position that you don’t have access to yourself: why not? But I think I might have done 5 apps through a recruiter. I found them very unhelpful and purely used them to get access to the company. The times I could access it without a recruiter I didn’t go with them. Out of the 5 apps I got one first round interview that turned one second round interview, and no offer. But they were zero help in achieving that.

A2 that’s called a candidate driven model. You want one focused on a client driven model (they already have the client and have been given a order to go find someone for a role)

Yes. But most focus on law firm recruiting. You need one who focuses on in-house.

So my question is now, does SAC have an in built excel option which would allow users to enter root causes across materials and then SAC refresh this

Have interviews set up at FAANG co and getting good signals, for a position that was posted widely (all across US) but not remote. Haven’t broached the subject of location yet. Would you (1) early on clearly state that you’re not open to relocation but that you would be open to visiting a big office once or twice a month; (2) not say anything now and wait to get an offer and ask for an exemption; or (3) something else?
