Average home price inflation is typically 1% to 3%, so that’s lower than normal

I think the people who are expecting a correction don’t understand economics. There’s more equity in homes than ever before, foreclosures are extremely low, and there’s been below average inventory for 24 months now. I can’t see a scenario where home prices “correct” significantly in most markets.
Probably primarily a function of fuzzy interest rate forecasts. Not a nominal correction, but certainly a real correction.
