Go on credit karma and look at their list of cards specifically for low credit scores. You’re not going to get approved for most of the “sexy” cards that get talked about in here, but that’s ok as you’re just trying to build your credit score.
Adding to this make sure autopay is on and your utilization is never ever ever above 30%
Go for Discover, they’re usually really good for intro cards
Get a secure credit card first and don't apply for any other credit cards/loan for a year.
Use up to 30% of that secure credit card max and don't miss any payments.
This will build a solid credit score in short time and then you can go for regular credit cards

You might want to focus on raising your score first?
Lol right? I assume that’s why op wants their first card
There are a lot of cards for beginners or those with low credit. Look into one of those. Is there a way that a parent or someone could put you as an authorized user on a card. That would help with your credit.

Chase Freedom Unlimited or Flex. Got the unlimited before having any sort of credit score. DM if u want a referral code and we can both get some $
That’s exactly why Advisory 1. You had a credit history because of ur parent being wise enough to build it for u early on

All start from chase
If your parents have good credit have them add you as an authorized user but never give you a card.
Helped me start off with a 720+ score when getting my first card.
Aside from that follow D2s advice if you don’t already have options for a non secured card
Discover
Discover is your best shot. Get a secured card if they reject you.
Discover’s secured card will auto convert to a regular credit card after a few months
If you are getting rejected, you need a secured credit card. Discover probably has the best one
