I am not good in trading. Earlier had some with motilal oswal, have to check it's status and close as Citi does not permit trading outside I guess.
Since I recently joined Citi, Now I want to learn and do trading inside citi. I really want to master this skill ..
Please guide me on this.

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Sometimes I will type out exactly what I want to say before the presentation. I don't actually use the notes, but having worked through what I want to say makes it come out smoother in front of people.
Just keep practicing. Seek out further opportunities to lead meetings/present. That's the only way you can stop being shy :)
OP, was it a client meeting? Because if you ever figure out how to guide client discussions, let us know!!! 😂
Video yourself giving a presentation. It is amazing what we don't know we are doing until we see it.
You just have to practice and it gets easier the more you do. I would actually avoid writing everything down. That can be too scripted.
I spoke at a big event that was being recorded on video, broadcast over the web and also had a big audience. Doing well was very important. One of those career days. No slides. A little stressful.
I outlined my points using little memory devices to remember each one. . So when I'm done, I have a list of worlds and each word triggers a group of points I want to make. After that, I spent a half a day in a conference room delivering my remarks out loud to an empty room. Over and over. After that, I grabbed some people and asked them to listen and practiced some more.
By the time I got on stage, I was confident and relaxed and it showed. I think the key is to stand up and practice out loud. Over and over until you feel good. Also to get good at using keywords to trigger each point and the talk track around that. After that. Just practice. Good luck. Sounds like you did a great job.
For major presentations create an outline of what you want to say. The intro and closing should be written out fully. And your sub bullets and transitions in between should be a max of 1 sentence... this is prevent you from getting stuck into specific wording and limit memorization. Next practice going through it until you can present it without slides. This may seem difficult but it's actually very easy and should only take you ~3 times to get it down. When you present, you should come off relaxed yet confident, almost conversational. That part will be easy because your intro will go very smooth and put you in the right mind state for the rest of the presentation. Good luck 👍🏾
Thanks A1 and D1! I'm happy with what I delivered, being the first time I did it. But I also recognize there's a lot room for improvement. One of the feedbacks I got was that I did not drive/guide the conversation, which I agree
And talk slower. You are speaking way faster than you think you are when you are nervous.
Everyone gets nervous public speaking. I don't care who you are. Way to step up, MCA
Thanks EY1 :) I appreciate your comment!
Great points P1 :) I am definitely taking notes!
Haha yes it was! But they were gracious, very easy going group of people. And despite the internal feedback from SM, the client team did not raise any issues for the gaps I may have left while presenting.

Prepare. Slow down. Practice
