I Got one Offer from Fynd but that is too low for me and as per my expereince
They are giving me 9 LPA bcz I quoted that amount when I applied for it long back. at that time I didnt know more about how salary and all calculated and whats the market research
Now after clearing all the rounds when we meet for salary discussion i told him my real desired salary as per experience and market reseach
He told me that I quoted 9 LPA so we can not do more "unless you have any counter offer"
Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

Just heard of two, director and manager level
I haven't seen anyone fired, I have seen three people so far either quit or be put on PIPs. Mostly in RC underperforming sections.
Kpmg never fires anyone sadly
No these were layoffs I know the people personally. So was just wondering if there were anymore.

It's part of their annual cycle. Kpmg hires and fires like a revolving door. Even the recruiters are boomerangs.
I know people who were offered deals to leave like you'll get 3 weeks paid or whatever but definitely not layoffs. Are you sure they didn't tell you that bc it sounds better than fired
A number of Directors did not meet with FY16 sales targets which led them to get counseled out. Which can been seen as a forced layoff...
We don't fire. We do counsel out.
What's the detail on"counseling out" do they help you find another opportunity or is it just "it would be best if we part ways. Please quit"
Usually placement support is part of the deal, yes.
