I've been following Coforge LinkedIn page, and I have decent offer from them. In one call HR said we will be moving towards 5 days work from Office, to which I said I don't mind. Now that aside, their LinkedIn posts everyone at VP SVP levels are joining.. seems like they are growing very fast, as hiring at such high Positions happens only that time.

Question is - whenever I compare Coforge with any other people say avoid Coforge.. Why????

How long do you wait on a planned call for a Director or MD to join? I've noticed they tend to be at least 5 mins late but mostly almost 10. Please respect my time if I respect yours!!

Hey. For people who’ve moved laterally, how did you deal with the request for references from your current employer?

Did first set of redlines for a partner. Have ten years experience doing what this partner does but I am new to working with him. Said I did about a 7 out of 10 on that job. Not sure how to feel about that. What say you all? :) Keep in mind I asked for a 1 to 10 because I cannot talk to him about it for a week or so.

I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?

I am interested in exploring other opportunities as I know there are a lot out there, but is anyone else worried about the current economic state? Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

- If i allow them to contact my current employer, do they still ask for W2’s and Paystubs?

How much is too much when pushing for a raise? I’ve been in my position a little over 1 year, received top scores in my annual review, kept my team intact, yet I’m paid at the lowest salary band for my level. Manager has said multiple times she would look into a raise for me but nothing has happened. Person before me in this role was earning +$17K than me. How many times do I have to ask?

I just offered an intern a full time position as an account coordinator with a starting salary of $50k. They have only been an intern for 2 months and have no prior experience. They acted like $50k was a huge slap in the face. Am I crazy for thinking $50k is reasonable for entry level in Toronto?
