Super easy, just be confident and practice your technology showcase. Do well in that and you’re good to go.
There will be 10 behavioral questions, use the STAR method for that.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion! I have not received the topic for the showcase yet, I’ll practice it once I get it
I didn’t really practice the STAR method and eventually the guy that interviewed me asked me a question along the lines of “something has gone wrong with a project and a client has requested an emergency meeting, what do you think is going through the clients head” and I replied: “ what the fuck happened?”.
We laughed it off and after that we had a fun discussion and I’m sure he liked me cause I got hired. I dont recommend anybody doing this but man was it funny in the moment.
it varies city to city, pretty sure dallas is in the mid 80s
Same I made the interviewer laugh, he didn’t even pay attention to my showcase. Guess he liked my personality, got hired lol
Congratulations! What was the your showcase topic? Did you create any PowerPoint slide ? Did you remember some of the questions from the interview?
Btw, what is the compensation for this role?
Pretty slides, show confidence, smile and present good sense of humor when appropriate.
Always list the pros and cons - utilization, implementation, cost etc. This is a good practice to show that you understand the tradeoffs because all strategy and plans would have tradeoffs. If you list the cons, think about how to potentially address the cons or any future ideas that could mitigate. It shows you’ve thoroughly thought about the anticipating questions from your audience.
