Could anyone kindly tell me about the Investment Management and Private Equity Audit Group at Deloitte? 1. Work Life Balance (Is it worst than the ordinary Big 4 WLB?) 2. Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Big 4 to Tier 2 or MBB is common especially today without b-school
Most likely down leveled or with 6 YOE, come in at the Associate/C (b-school hire level). This is a good thing coming in at EM, SMs, or PLs can be really tough.
Your comp will rapidly rise and the first two years are necessary to adjust to the pace/intensity of having CXO counterparts. Best of luck with case prep!
Is it worth making that transition if you’re in your late 20s/early 30s?
Bain 1 - my main concern is that I feel like I’ll be losing time if I jump to another firm now that I’m in my early 30s. I spent the last 5 years at the same big4, built up good relationships with a lot of people, done good work, and I would like to hopefully one day make partner. If I jump, I’ll be starting from scratch again
I wouldn't expect to level up and wouldn't advise taking it even if you were offered it. Setting yourself up for failure.
Interesting point - do you think is that different Manager in Big 4 and in Tier 2? Is the work at Tier 2 that much complex?
I leveled down from WITCH but was able to make the grade back in a year - so yes it’s possible.
