Help with comparing offer to current comp
Offer: Base 175K, discretionary bonus (told average 10% of base), benefits below current

Current: 110k base, 20-40k bonus, 100k rsu over 3 yr, tech benefits

What would suggest countering in base or sign on bonus to justify move?

Booked a gig at a day rate, but after agreeing to the contract, they’ve asked me to do research and prep work prior to coming in. It’ll be a couple hours of working from home. Bill it or just do it?

Guys, my friend just joined KPMG 3 months ago and now he got an offer from Horvath (one of the top german management consulting firms)
- 50% higher salary in Horvath
- same position
- smaller team in Horvath
- work life balance in kpmg

Should he go or not in your opinion (knowing he want to join big 3 in the long term)????

As I have been given fixed salary and remote work. But on offer it states EPAM systems.
Could someone please let me know who has joined epam anywhere recently if on offer it’s mentioned as anywhere?

All, looking for a comp. check at Slalom since their titles don't follow the standard paradigm. I'm a 2nd year senior manager with account management responsibilities and 10+ years of experience. Does anyone know what the range of starting salaries is for Slalom? For reference, West Monroe Partners would be 180-190k.

It seems like Slalom would be in that ballpark.

Joined the consulting world about a year ago. Constantly feel clueless, lost, and incompetent but I have major anxiety, which results in me not speaking up, making mistakes, being reactive instead of proactive, etc. I like my client and my team but hate pretty much everything else: the uncertainty, constant change, ridiculous expectations. My in-laws think any woman or black person in a leadership position is there because of diversity and that companies shouldn’t try to put any effort into promoting diversity in their recruitment because it harms minorities as people will always think those minorities are in a position of power only because they were hired because of gender/race quotas.

They also think it’s perfectly justified in prioritizing hiring a woman over a man (all else being equal) because of potential for ‘me too’. 😣

I have my first interview tomorrow for a new job - I’m currently still at the agency I got my first job at (it’s been 2 years & I’ve had 1 promotion, for reference). My question is - can they ask me how much I’m currently making? If so, can I lie? Can they ask for proof? I’m grossly underpaid right now (way below average and even below minimum for my role) so I’ll be asking for a hefty increase, but don’t want them to know just HOW hefty, because I feel like it’ll put me at a disadvantage.
