Sorry it’s been tough but I would have hoped the holiday break was a brief disconnect from linked in at least. With some exceptions, hiring is not ‘hot’ during or around the holidays, (or even the first two or three weeks of January), as recruiters love to say. There is typically more movement the third and fourth week of Jan & then into February, when client scopes have been fully approved. Hang in there and stay positive. I know it seems easy to say, but it’s happened to most of us, and things do take time, but they will turn around.
something will open up eventually, just remember that the career you retire from may be in a slightly different vein from what you’re doing this minute. Don’t be afraid of change or of opportunities that may arise that you weren’t expecting or even looking for, and don’t 1000% expect the next role to be “senior copywriter “. I get it that you have a portfolio, this is what you do, and you will in fact likely find something. I’m just saying keep an open mind and be good to yourself and proud of yourself. Waking up to an empty inbox, or a bunch of upcoming interviews, (if one is lucky), takes mental strength, so don’t put yourself down. Feel free to DM me for ideas, you got this!

Me. Since Oct 2024, just a few processes that mined my self esteem and killed me a bit. After working on one of those agencies everyone wants to be at.
