My mother did for several years and it went away without treatment.
I’m not sure if this is the reason why it went away but she went from eating whatever to eating very clean and almost entirely vegan. (Chests sometimes
And eats meat) Since then she’s had a lot of energy and no longer suffers.
I had it and recovered by eating more protein (I was vegetarian for 20 years but didn't get enough) and working out with personal trainer who gradually built up my strength. Also, I was stricken during a ridiculously stressful time in my life and recovery came also as things were improving in my life overall.
hugs and best of luck to you.
I had it and turns out it’s because I didn’t know I was lactose intolerant but I didn’t get stomach issues like other ppl
I am developing Fibromyalgia and seriously struggling with it. I already have Lupus and RA hence why its harder. Most days im aching and cant get out of bed. Im starting to reconsider my current travel schedule and the feasibility of staying healthy. Strongly considering exiting into a less travel job
Also have autoimmune issues (lupus and osteoarthritis—I’m in my 20s) and my function has less travel but is still highly demanding. On partner track but I don’t think this is sustainable for me and I’m planning to leave.
Also have an autoimmune condition. Deloitte offered really good short term disability benefit. Take off time if you need to in order to adjust to and address your health concerns. Agree life style isn’t conducive to a long term career due to stress, hours, and expectations. (Currently M, have no desire to be an SM here).
Adding more information: short term covers 100% of your salary for 6 months if you are a manager or above. I don’t know the percentage for ba-sc but I think it’s 100% for 3 months and 60% afterwards but TOD should have more information. Focus on recovery, your health is more important than any other factor- finances included. I learned significantly on family during my illness and leave to help me save/limit medical cost liabilities.
